I've got my entry in early for Landscape Artist Of The Year 2021.
I needed to submit a landscape painting. I chose Sedona, Arizona (https://artisticactuary.blogspot.com/2020/09/sedona-arizona.html).
I was allowed to submit a second landscape if I wanted to, so why not? I went for Lancashire Sunset (https://artisticactuary.blogspot.com/2020/07/lancashire-sunset.html).
And then I was allowed to submit a third painting, which didn't even need to be a landscape. Again, I couldn’t say no, so picked (Two Of) The Hateful Eight (https://artisticactuary.blogspot.com/2020/06/two-of-hateful-eight.html).
The three paintings show off how, on a good day, I can make the colours zing. That's the common theme across the three of them. And the Hateful Eight painting shows, in the background, how I can keep the colours calm and under control if I need to.
I also provided a link to this blog, so if you're one of the judges reading this, hello!
